LJ Star Sight Flow indicators - Sight flow indicators and sight glasses have proved to be important tools for process engineers, despite advances in electronic instrumentation. They give an "on the spot" visual verification of instrumentation and upon external power sources, offer a failsafe method of checking a pipeline or vessel. The LJ Star range of visual flow indicators feature ANSI rated view-through or 360°full-view models in threaded or flanged designs, and every unit is individually hydro-tested and factory certified prior to despatch. Standard materials of construction are stainless steel/borosilicate/teflon®, and special materials and custom designs are also available to order. Full-View & View-Through Visual Flow Indicators Your choice: either (360° Full-View Units or our Standard View-Through Visual Flow Indicators) with independently bolted glass retainers, and with either flanged or threaded connections. Investment-cast bodies are stainless or coated carbon steel. Full-view sizes range from 1/8 inch to 12 inches depending on connection and come equipped with an impact-deterrent shield as standard. View-through units range from 1/2-inch to 12 inches, full-ANSI rated up to 6 inches. To meet varying applications, standard view-through models may be equipped with a rotor, flapper or drip-tube. Standard alloys include 316 stainless steel and carbon steel. For added safety, view-through units are available with Metaglas® lenses |  |
