| Brilex supplies an explosion vent sensor that is installed separate to the explosion vent. The sensor is mounted on the frame that holds the explosion vent or via a bracket supplied by Brilex. The sensor tip is manufactured from PTFE. The explosion vent opens and as soon as the explosion vent hits the sensor tip the elecrtic circuit to the sensor tip is broken and alarm can be given. The sensor can be easily replaced after use. This sensor is now available conforming to ATEX.
