| Thorwesten Vent type RLE explosion door is a re-closing explosion venting device designed for multiple use. Type RLE is used in very harsh dust collector applications as well as many others. In event of filter blockage the RLE ven will open on overpressure. A sentinal switch on the explosion door release mechanism will sense the opening in both an overpressure or dust explosion case. There is no need to replace the explosion door after several releases. The release pressure can be set and checked using a "force calibration device". The RLE has excellent reliability for reverse pulse dust collectors - and provides cost savings where pressure spikes can occur regularly that may open , for example , bursting disc devices.
