WHATS NEW - November, 2002
T & B Electonic GmbH of Germany have appointed CMC Technologies as their sole and exclusive agent for the range of spark and ember detection and extinguishing products. T & B have supplied thousands of systems world wide. Spark and Ember detection and extinguishing systems can be used in combination with explosion vents to provide an effective combination of preventive protection against, and explosion relief of dust explosions. CMC Technologies also provides service and after sales support and can provide installation supervision and commissioning. T and B can provide a simple spark detection system with use of silicon photocell spark detectors or a combined spark and ember detection system with use of lead sulphide detectors. Extinguishing can be effected using water , carbon dioxide or a combination with isolation valves and diverter valves.
