WHATS NEW - April 1999
DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE GAUGES RESIST WEATHER
Mid-West Instrument USA, exclusively represented in Australia by CMC Technologies, have in their range ex-stock, low cost differential pressure gauges for use in measuring the pressure drop across filters, strainers, separators, valves, pumps, chillers, etc and for local flow indication and control. Differential pressure is sensed by the movement of a floating piston magnet against a calibrating spring. The gauge pointer, outside the pressure housing, follows the movement of the piston magnet and indicates differential pressure. An optional maximum indicator follower pointer provides automatic indication of maximum differential occurring during a time period or system cycle. Reversed pressure ports are optionally available to facilitate installation and readability depending on which side of a filter, etc, the instrument must be installed.
Mid-West Instrument proves weatherproof designs by submersion in Water for up to 18 hours. Weatherproof rated to NEM 4X/IP65, corrosion resistant engineered plastic gauge fronts excel in hostel environments. Weatherproofing is standard on Mid-West DP gauges. Up to 6000PSIG Working pressure with full Over-range protection and with switching capabilities as other option.
